The Workplace Relations Commission found four complaints by former Petrogas Group Ltd retail assistant Catriona O'Leary not well founded. Five other complaints were withdrawn. The decision was dated 8 August 2024. O'Leary alleged less favourable treatment involving till shortages, fuel drive-offs, access to keys, late closing, duties and an insult by a co-worker. Petrogas said performance and conduct issues led to warnings and her dismissal, and denied treating her less favourably or penalising her. The officer found no prima facie evidence supporting her part-time work complaint, and found that the two complaints about penalisation under working-time law and the fixed-term work complaint were not well founded. The five withdrawn complaints concerned equality and terms of employment.
