The Workplace Relations Commission found three complaints by ESB Networks technician Sean Meyler about the MyTime timesheet system and delayed payments not well founded. The decision was dated 13 December 2022. Meyler said introducing the app changed his employment terms without consultation. The adjudicator found that his terms had not been changed unilaterally, and that the change was to work practices. ESB Networks said MyTime replaced a paper timesheet process and that payments outside base wages could be delayed when employees did not use the app. Meyler also alleged victimisation linked to his union membership and delayed allowances and overtime. The adjudicator found the delays arose from his refusal to use MyTime, with no causal link to union membership. On his wages complaint, the adjudicator found that a €250 payment was delayed but did not amount to an unlawful deduction. All three complaints were found not well founded.
