The Workplace Relations Commission found Patrick Adair’s complaint against the Office Of Public Works was brought outside the statutory time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 10 March 2023. Adair said his contract entitled him to the ninth point of the Engineer Grade 3 pay scale, but the respondent later said he was entitled to the eighth point. It argued that public service pay rules made him ineligible for the additional increment. The complaint, under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, concerned an alleged change to his pay terms.
