The Workplace Relations Commission found that Alannaí O'Connor-Grogan received her written employment terms in August 2018, about seven months after starting part-time work at Flair Beauty Boutique. The decision, dated 19 October 2022, directed the salon to pay one week’s pay, calculated using her last week of employment. The salon said it had provided the terms in February and that she misplaced the contract. The WRC did not uphold her constructive dismissal complaint, finding that the disciplinary hearing did not take place and that she had an opportunity to return to work after being certified fit. Her victimisation complaint under the Industrial Relations (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2004 was also not well founded.
