A WRC adjudication officer awarded a waitress €1,000 after finding that a restaurant failed to provide her with a written contract of employment. The decision was dated 3 May 2017. The waitress also withdrew a separate road transport working-time complaint at the hearing, saying it had been incorrectly lodged.
