WRC finds three complaints out of time; fourth withdrawn

The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to inquire into three complaints by a Pre-school Employee because they were filed outside the time limit; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 7 August 2019. A complaint under the Industrial Relations Act was withdrawn. The claims concerned annual leave, a change to employment terms and constructive dismissal against a Creche, Preschool and Afterschool Facility. The adjudication officer found the complainant had not shown reasonable cause to extend the deadline, noting she had been advised about making a WRC complaint in 2015.
