Trinity Homes and Yeronga enter examinership over insolvency

By Ruairí Dolan

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Trinity Homes Limited and Yeronga Ltd entered examinership in the Circuit Civil Court on 12 November 2021, with accountants appointed as joint examiners.

Judge John O'Connor directed the examiners to review a dividend of almost €1 million paid by Trinity Homes to a former director, and to investigate whether investor funds were unaccounted for or used to develop private rather than social housing.

Both firms were unable to pay their debts. The report said their difficulties included higher building-material costs and missed scheduled loan repayments; the companies had borrowed more than €11 million through the Immigrant Investment Programme.
