Labour Court upholds Oasis Global appeal in redundancy case involving Muhammednurulain Boda

The Labour Court upheld Oasis Global Management Company (Ireland) Limited’s appeal and set aside the Adjudication Officer’s decision in Muhammednurulain Boda’s redundancy case, dated 10 September 2025. The company argued that Boda’s email of 14 January 2022 resigned both his directorship and his employment. Boda said he resigned as a director but not as an employee after declining a transfer to the UK. The Court found that the email resigned both roles. It also found Boda had not established that his position was redundant when he resigned and accepted other employment.
