The Labour Court affirmed the decision rejecting Maureen O’Hehir’s complaint against Aer Lingus over a €1,051.73 wage deduction. The determination was dated 21 November 2019. O’Hehir argued that the deduction was unauthorised and that information about renewing her airport identification card was misleading. The Court found it was her responsibility to renew the card and that the deduction was authorised, fair and reasonable, with the required notice. Her appeal failed.
