Labour Court finds no trade dispute over Mercy University Hospital nurse managers’ pay

The Labour Court found there was no trade dispute over the pay banding of senior nurse managers at Mercy University Hospital Cork, so the referral was not properly before it. The recommendation was signed on 27 January 2022. The workers, represented by INMO, sought continued Band 1 pay for the managers. The hospital and the HSE agreed the managers were properly paid at Band 1.
