The Labour Court recommended that Dunnes Stores restore six Cavan workers’ contracted hours and overtime arrangements after a dispute over a change to their start times. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union represented the workers. The union said their start times were changed from 9am to noon, costing them an overtime premium. The Court recommended putting the traditional contract arrangements in place within four weeks. The recommendation was signed on 21 April 2008.
