The Labour Court did not recommend in favour of Amicus’s claim for a share of savings from Crown Equipment’s Process Improvement Programme. It said the plant closure and the wind-down and redundancy agreement accepted by both parties had overtaken the claim. The Court’s recommendation was dated 9 December 2005. Amicus said workers had contributed to the programme and expected to benefit from its savings.
