The Labour Court recommended a 27-month agreement with phased pay rises of 5%, 3% and 2.5% for workers at Hospira Limited after a dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The recommendation was signed on 15 November 2004. The union had sought a substantial basic-pay increase and other improvements in an 18-month agreement. The Court also recommended equalising sick pay between craft workers and the workers covered by the claim, and cooperation on measures to reduce absenteeism.
