In 1995, the Labour Court recommended an additional £60 and a P45 for a worker in a dismissal dispute with The Rising Sun Takeaway. The recommendation was signed on 20 November 1995. The worker said she was unaware her employer was dissatisfied until she received a dismissal letter and a £60 cheque. The employer said till shortages and a dispute about cleaning led to her walking out without notice. The Court recommended the extra £60 in full and final settlement, in addition to money already paid, and said the company should arrange for her to receive a P45.
