The Labour Court recommended that Concurrent Computer (Ireland) Limited negotiate with Manufacturing Science Finance (M.S.F.) on severance terms for members who might be made redundant and conditions for staff temporarily retained at the Cork plant. The negotiations could be separate or joint. The recommendation followed the company’s announcement that its US parent had decided to close the plant. It was signed on 7 September 1990.
