The Labour Court recommended that the employers’ offer in International Factors (Ireland) Limited’s 27th wage-round dispute with the Irish Bank Officials' Association be accepted in full settlement of the association’s claims. The recommendation was signed on 25 November 1988. The claims covered pay, salary scales, house-loan eligibility and deputising allowances. The offer included national-plan pay increases and proposed a Grade F salary band of £15,000 to £21,000.
