The Labour Court set aside a WRC finding in favour of Paul Arkins, ruling on 11 December 2024 that it had no jurisdiction to hear his complaint under the Protection of Employees (Fixed-Term Work) Act. The Court found the evidence showed he contracted with VK Six Productions DAC and no evidence of an employment contract with Metropolitan Films International Limited. It found the complaint not well founded.
