The Labour Court set aside a WRC finding in Jason Arkins’s complaint against Metropolitan Films International Limited over written reasons for renewing fixed-term contracts. The Court signed its decision on 11 December 2024. The Court found no evidence that Metropolitan Films International Limited employed Arkins. It found that documentary evidence and sworn testimony showed he was employed by Badlands Three TV Productions DAC, and ruled it had no jurisdiction to hear the substantive complaint. The Court did not decide the other jurisdictional arguments.
