The Labour Court has upheld a WRC decision that it had no jurisdiction over Siobhan Mcnally’s employment equality complaint against Rotunda Hospital because it was lodged outside the statutory time limit. The determination was signed on 7 May 2025. McNally argued that monthly payments meant her employment continued and the complaint was in time. The Court relied on its finding in a linked appeal that her employment ended on 20 May 2019, and said the complaint was lodged three years and five months later. It dismissed the appeal without making a substantive finding on discrimination.
