The Labour Court dismissed Claire Conlon’s appeal and upheld a decision that her complaint against Inspire Wellbeing Company Limited By Guarantee was out of time and that no prima facie discrimination case had been made out. In a determination dated 9 April 2024, the Court accepted that the relevant claim period ran from 18 February to 17 August 2020. It said it had no discretion to extend the deadline because Conlon had not sought an extension before the Adjudication Officer.
