The Labour Court set aside a €750 award to Stephen Sawyer after he did not attend the appeal hearing to pursue his working-time complaint against his employer, Ideal Technics. The complaint under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 was found not well founded. Ideal Technics had disputed a contravention and said Sawyer received statutory breaks.
