The Labour Court upheld a €130 award to Tomasz Warzycha and awarded him €200 for annual leave pay, €100 for late holiday payments and €150 compensation plus €110 gross for public holiday pay. It dated its determination 30 November 2018. Warzycha worked for Sprint Coatings Limited until he was summarily dismissed in March 2017. The Court also found breaches involving rest periods and overtime notice, but made no further compensation award for those claims. The complaints about breaks, weekly hours, a May 2017 public holiday and the Section 23 claim failed; the Section 23 claim was not particularised. Responsibility for the rest-period breaches was shared because he sought to maximise overtime.
