The Workplace Relations Commission found Fernando Oliveira’s Payment of Wages complaint against Ryanair Dac not well founded in a decision dated 29 July 2026. Oliveira alleged unpaid May wages and disputed deductions for sick pay and annual leave, as well as a final-pay reconciliation entry. Ryanair said it had paid the May wages, recouped discretionary sick pay paid in error and correctly calculated the annual leave adjustment. It said the final-pay entry reflected an overpayment reconciliation, with €718.07 still outstanding after a later offset. The adjudication officer accepted the company’s explanations and found Oliveira had not established that wages properly payable were unlawfully deducted.
