WRC rejects chef’s further pay claim after €1,200 shortfall was paid

The Workplace Relations Commission found Krzysztof Cender’s pay complaint against Onsite Facilities Management Limited was not well founded. The decision, dated 9 June 2026, concerned whether Sunday premiums had been included in holiday and sick pay calculations. Cender said the Sunday premium had been left out of those calculations. The company said a payroll review identified a €1,200 shortfall, which it paid before he referred the complaint. The WRC found he had not established that any further wages remained due; the €1,200 was not a WRC award.
