The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Przemyslaw Wosik €3,684 and directed Onsite Facilities Management Ltd Ofm to issue a revised job description reflecting his expanded duties. The decision, dated 28 April 2026, upheld his complaint that the change in his work had not been recorded in writing. The WRC found his role had grown from chef work into management, including responsibility for budgets, compliance and staff.
Wosik said he had taken on catering management duties without an updated written job description. The employer said the additional responsibilities remained within the normal scope of a chef’s role. The WRC also dismissed his separate complaint about a proposed roster change, finding it was withdrawn and never implemented. The officer said determining the appropriate job grade and remuneration was outside the Act’s remit.
