WRC rejects M Paul Cronin’s discrimination complaint over restaurant incident

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected M Paul Cronin’s complaint against Aarval Ltd. and Mc Donald's Restaurants, finding no prima facie case of discrimination. The decision was dated 26 May 2026. Cronin alleged a security guard used a slur about his sexual orientation and treated him unfairly at a Mc Donald's restaurant.
