The Workplace Relations Commission found Mary Gamble's complaint against Furniture Manufacturing and Recycling t/a County House Furniture not well founded in a decision dated 26 May 2026. Gamble said she had not received payslips and later discovered social welfare deductions had not been returned on her behalf. The adjudication officer found the complaint was at least ten months outside the time limit and that Gamble's explanation did not justify extending it. The officer also noted that a payslip complaint should have been brought under the Payment of Wages Act 1991, rather than the road transport working-time regulations cited in her complaint. The respondent did not attend the hearing.
