The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has directed Starglazing Ltd to pay Karen Gaffrey €1,275.45 after finding her Payment of Wages Act complaint well founded. The decision was dated 9 January 2026. Gaffrey said she was dismissed without notice and had not received the €1,275.45 shown on her payslip. Starglazing Ltd said it dismissed her for gross misconduct and that the payslip was issued in error. The adjudication officer found the company had not proved gross misconduct and that the payslip showed payment due for two shifts and notice.
