The Workplace Relations Commission found that Super Streaming Tech Limited unfairly dismissed former director Adam McDonagh and ordered the company to pay him €15,000 for three months’ notice and €4,602 in unfair dismissal compensation. The decision was dated 31 October 2025.

The WRC also upheld four wage complaints for unpaid February to May pay, awarding €2,000, €4,250, €5,000 and €1,150.66 respectively. It rejected a January wage complaint because the company could recover a December overpayment. McDonagh had started as director of game operations in February 2024 on a €60,000 salary. The company did not attend the hearing.

The officer found the company did not engage appropriately with McDonagh or take reasonable steps to avoid redundancy. McDonagh found similar paid work the following month, so the officer found he had no financial loss from dismissal and limited compensation to four weeks’ remuneration. Notice pay was awarded separately under the wage complaints.
