The Workplace Relations Commission found that Olaf Dauter was an employee of Beatrice Steiner T/A Beebolt Racing T/A Beebolt Racing Syndicate, but said it could not entertain his minimum-wage complaint because he had not first requested a written statement of his average hourly pay. The decision was dated 4 September 2025. Dauter said he received €7,000 between 7 February and 30 May 2025 and that wages remained outstanding. Steiner said there was no employment relationship and described the arrangement as work for accommodation, with €500 paid weekly for humanitarian reasons. The WRC recorded no award.
