The Workplace Relations Commission found Valeria Butera’s Payment of Wages complaint against the Rotunda Hospital statute barred and not well founded. The decision was dated 30 January 2026. Butera said the hospital should have credited her earlier public-sector work in Argentina when placing her on the Grade V salary scale in July 2023. The hospital said it relied on her Verification of Service record and paid the wages due under her contract. The adjudicator held that the complaint concerned the original salary-scale placement, so the later request for a review did not restart the statutory time limit. The determination did not award compensation.
