The Workplace Relations Commission directed Northbridge Medical Limited to pay Mihaela Graminschii €590 for untaken holiday pay when her employment ended. Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne’s decision was dated 4 November 2025. Graminschii, a former secretary at the medical practice, said she was owed pay for holidays she had not taken in 2024 and for a bonus. The company argued employees had to use annual leave within the relevant year and that no bonus was contractually due. The officer found the company had not shown that it rostered specific holiday dates and awarded pay for 29.5 hours of leave at €20 an hour. The holiday-pay aspect was well founded; the bonus claim was not upheld because it was not a contractual entitlement. The €590 award is subject to tax, PRSI and USC deductions.
