The Workplace Relations Commission rejected James Wallace’s complaint that the Governor and Company of Bank of Ireland unlawfully withheld his 2024 bonus and a 4% salary increase due in May 2025. Adjudication Officer Eileen Campbell found he did not meet the communicated eligibility terms, so neither payment was properly payable under the Payment of Wages Act. A duplicate wage claim was withdrawn at the hearing.
