The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Xavier Management Holdings Limited T/A The Landmark to pay bartender Sebastian Canete Vera €260 after upholding his complaint that a change to his working hours was not notified in writing. Adjudication Officer Eileen Campbell’s decision was dated 16 September 2025. The WRC rejected Vera’s separate complaint that he was treated less favourably as a part-time worker. He alleged that his hours were reduced, including a week with no scheduled shifts; the company said it paid him for that week and assured him he would receive 20 hours weekly.
