The Workplace Relations Commission found that Brian Hopkins had not made out his unfair dismissal complaint against Hakim Group. The decision by adjudication officer Michael McEntee was dated 16 September 2025, and no award was recorded. Hopkins said changes after Hakim Group took over the business and later disciplinary action led to his dismissal. The company relied on alleged threats, conduct at meetings, ordering errors and use of its IT systems. The WRC found the company had generally followed a proper process, although separate managers at each stage would have been preferable.
