The Workplace Relations Commission ruled on 9 April 2026 that it lacked jurisdiction to decide Andres Pregigueiro Ramos’s unfair dismissal complaint against Capita ltd, because it found he was still employed when he filed it. Ramos alleged that Capita dismissed him after he raised workplace concerns. The adjudicator found he remained on paid suspension until his dismissal on 7 August 2025, months after the complaint was filed. The ruling did not assess whether that later dismissal was fair.
