The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Darius Zakas’s complaint that Drive Service Stations Ltd T/A Mcsorleys Centra unlawfully withheld his 2024 performance bonus. Adjudication Officer Breiffni O’Neill found the complaint was not well-founded in a decision dated 10 March 2026. Zakas said he had not agreed to a new contract or been told that the bonus depended on remaining employed until sign-off. The company said he accepted a contract electronically on 24 May 2024, with the bonus forfeited if employment ended before sign-off. The adjudicator found he accepted that contract and resigned before the 2024 results were finalised, so its bonus conditions were unmet.
