The Workplace Relations Commission awarded John Richardson €5,725.14 for unpaid wages and €1,000 for Boru Stoves’ failure to provide written employment terms. Adjudication officer Orla Jones issued the decision dated 20 February 2026. Richardson said the company stopped paying his regular wages in November 2024 and that he had not received a written statement of his employment terms. The officer found both complaints well founded. Boru Stoves, which was in liquidation, did not attend the hearing; the liquidator had been notified of the arrangements.
