GXO Logistics defeats six complaints brought by former warehouse operative

The WRC found six complaints by Mert Calvin Akyuz against GXO Logistics not well founded in a decision dated 20 February 2026. Two alleged disability discrimination; four concerned employment terms, working time and sick pay. The officer found Akyuz had not established a disability or shown less favourable treatment for the discrimination complaints. The other four failed because Staffline Recruitment Ireland Limited, which paid his wages, was his employer under the relevant Acts, not GXO. Akyuz had worked as a general operative at GXO’s Santry warehouse.
