The Workplace Relations Commission has ordered Shasha's Hospitality Limited trading as Vela Restaurant to pay former waitress Khanak Sharma €1,208 after finding that wages and accrued annual leave went unpaid. The decision was dated 20 February 2026. The WRC accepted her claim that €635 for 50 hours of work, €365 deducted for emergency tax and €208 for accrued leave remained unpaid. The restaurant did not attend the hearing.
