The Workplace Relations Commission found Deepak Kumar’s complaint against Old Ground Hotel was not well founded, concluding no unlawful wage deduction had been established. Adjudication Officer Ewa Sobanska issued the decision dated 3 July 2025. Kumar said €2,000 of a €3,000 annual bonus remained unpaid after the hotel paid €1,000. The hotel said the bonus depended on performance and that Kumar had not met the criteria for the full amount. The officer found the terms did not establish that a bonus was properly payable in October 2024.
