The Workplace Relations Commission found Cara Kennedy’s Payment of Wages complaint against the Department Of Education not well founded in a decision dated 30 July 2026. The complaint concerned the Department’s refusal to recognise some of her teaching service in China and the United States for incremental salary credit. The adjudication officer found that the credit was discretionary, not wages properly payable under the Act, and that no unlawful deduction occurred. The complaint was heard on 26 February 2026.
