The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Clearwide Environmental Ltd to pay Colin Murphy €1,199.32 for failing to provide written employment terms, €2,398.64 for annual leave and €1,199.32 for pay in lieu of minimum notice. The decision was dated 21 March 2025. Murphy said he received no written contract, holiday pay or notice. Clearwide agreed it had not provided written terms and said he had taken paid holidays. The WRC upheld seven of his eight complaints, including related complaints that attracted no additional awards. It rejected his mobile road-transport working-time complaint because he did not perform that work.
