The Workplace Relations Commission ruled it had no jurisdiction to hear Nathan Featherstone’s unfair dismissal complaint against The Moo Stu Ltd because his employee service was less than the required 12 months. The decision was dated 22 April 2025. Featherstone asked for the complaint to be changed into a trade dispute under the Industrial Relations Act 1969. The company objected and said it would not attend a trade dispute hearing, so the amendment could not proceed.
