The Workplace Relations Commission said it had no jurisdiction to hear James Quinn’s complaint against Quinn Motors (Castlecomer) Limited because it was out of time, in a decision dated 17 April 2025. Quinn complained that he had not received written employment terms or notice of changes before October 2021. The company said it issued contracts to staff in October 2021 and that the complaint was out of time. The adjudicator found the company had been in breach until the terms were issued, but that the breach had ended before the six-month period relevant to the complaint.
