WRC rejects teacher’s pay complaint against Department of Education

The Workplace Relations Commission found Elizabeth Collins was paid the amount due under the documentation she submitted to the Department of Education and rejected her Payment of Wages complaint. Adjudication officer Conor Stokes dated the decision 8 May 2025. Collins argued she should have been paid on the post-primary scale for her role. The Department said she had completed a Primary Teacher Appointment form and was paid accordingly.
