The Workplace Relations Commission upheld four complaints by former Palace Bar manager Nadia Clancy-Wadda and awarded her €2,761, plus statutory redundancy pay. The decision was dated 10 March 2025. The WRC found that After Dark Market Square Limited, which operated the bar in Birr, failed to pay her final week’s wages, 5.4 days of accrued holiday leave and two weeks’ notice after the bar closed. It also found her job had become redundant. The company did not attend the hearing, and the adjudication officer relied on Clancy-Wadda’s uncontested evidence.
