The Workplace Relations Commission has directed Elaine Greene trading as Davis Transport Ltd to pay Greg Mulvaney €950 in withheld wages. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady dated the decision 12 February 2025. Mulvaney complained under the Payment of Wages Act after one week of final pay was withheld when he left without notice. The respondent accepted he had not been paid, saying his departure caused inconvenience. Brady found no statutory condition authorised the deduction and upheld the complaint.
