The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found that Xiaofeng Gao’s employment had transferred to a company established by Ming Gao in October 2023. In a decision dated 10 October 2025, it ruled that the company, rather than Ming Gao, was responsible for the complaints. The complaints against Ming Gao, concerning minimum wage, working time, wages and employment equality, were not well-founded. The company’s responsibility was addressed in a separate decision.
