WRC rejects Ann Irwin’s constructive dismissal complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Ann Irwin’s unfair dismissal complaint against Community Workers CLG, also identified as Community Work Ireland. Irwin alleged that her employer’s handling of her complaints about a colleague and her subsequent treatment made her position untenable, leading her to resign. The WRC found the employer’s responses and changes to work allocation reasonable, and accepted that the investigation could not continue after the colleague resigned. It concluded Irwin was not constructively dismissed.
